Tomaso Pizio nasce a Schilpario (BG) il 17 settembre 1932. Sin dall’infanzia manifesta una grande creatività accompagnata da una forte passione per l’arte. Le prime sperimentazioni, i concorsi, le mostre e le esperienze lo conducono a una sempre più salda consapevolezza, finché lo vediamo affermarsi nel panorama artistico contemporaneo, sia nazionale sia internazionale. Lo stile della pennellata e il colore divengono i tratti distintivi dell’artista, una sorta di firma inconfondibile. La brillantezza, la pulizia e gli abbinamenti al tempo stesso equilibrati e azzardati sono la manifestazione diretta delle emozioni dell’artista. Il carisma e l’umiltà contraddistinguono Pizio come artista, ma soprattutto come persona, capace di mantenere questa influenza positiva finché si spegne, il 18 febbraio 2003.

Tomaso Pizio (September 17, 1932 – February 18. 2003) was an Italian contemporary artist. Since childhood he has shown great creativity accompanied by a strong passion for art. The first experiments, competitions, exhibitions and experiences lead him to an increasingly firm awareness, until we see him establish himself in the contemporary art scene, both nationally and internationally. The style of the brushstroke and the color become the distinctive traits of the artist, a sort of unmistakable signature. The brilliance, cleanliness and combinations that are both balanced and risky are the direct manifestation of the artist’s emotions. Charisma and humility distinguish Pizio as an artist, but above all as a person, capable of maintaining this positive influence until he died on February 18, 2003.
